customer experiences in an innovative, collaborative environment.Who we’re looking forThe TFS Business Intelligence team is looking for a passionate and
highly-motivated Data Science Analyst. The Data Science Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing
data science solutions in partnership with other teams throughout TFS. This
person will develop forecasts from these insights and historical experience
while running research using advanced analytical and experimental approaches.
The data science team is critical to the success of the organization and its
ability to be competitive and to grow with the times. A successful candidate may possess a Master's degree in a quantitative
discipline, demonstrated experience with statistical modeling, and advanced
hands on experience with tools such as: R, Python (Numpy/Pandas), scikit-learn,
CART, STATA, TreeNet, SAS, and/or JMP. This person may also be well-versed in
using a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques to problem
solve, such as Logistic Regression, Time Series, Experimental Design,
Generalized Linear Models, Mixed Modeling, Multivariate Statistics, Large-Scale
Predictive Modeling, CHAID/decision trees, Neural Networks, Monte-Carlo,
Survival Analysis, Ensemble Models, etc. What you’ll be doing
Turn
Data into actionable intelligence.
Hands
on model development that drives business decisions.
Hands
on data extraction and data wrangling from internal and external systems.
Partner
with the business to develop predictive models to solve business problems.
Develop,
manage and maintain code using statistical software packages like Python,
R, SAS, etc.
Facilitate
Project Planning
Attend
and participate (where appropriate) in various project planning and
prioritization sessions.
Provide
subject matter expertise for the area of data analysis and predictive
modeling.
What you bring
Bachelor’s
degree from an accredited university.
Demonstrated
proficiency in one or more coding languages.
Ability
to apply lateral thinking in engineering predictive models, analytical
solutions, and ad hoc decision support to statisticians, data scientists,
and business groups.
Demonstrated experience
in developing and implementing predictive models.
