Clinical Laboratory Assistant/PhlebotomistFast-paced, high energy Lab department is looking for a top skilled Clinical Lab Assistant. Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75231Work hours: PRN (As Needed). Must have availability during either of the following established shifts:
4:00am-12:30pm
12:00pm-8:30pm
8:00pm-6:30am

Here’s What You Need
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
Six months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy
PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician upon hire preferred.
One year of hospital phlebotomy experience with specimen processing preferred OR
Two years of mobile phlebotomy experience preferred.
What You Will Do· Performs phlebotomy, specimen processing and limited outpatient services.
Follows laboratory procedures for handling, and processing in a manner which is appropriate and follows safety guidelines
Follows laboratory procedures for handling unacceptable specimens
Follows established laboratory test procedures
Performs procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
