With five decades of expertise in the built environment, Legence has a proven track record of reducing carbon emissions, implementing renewables, lowering utility costs through efficiency consumption, and making systems run better at unmatched speed and scale.Position Overview:The Cash Manager at Legence is responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, investments, and financial assets to ensure the financial stability and profitability of the organization. This role involves overseeing daily cash management activities, developing strategies for optimal cash utilization, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions. The Cash Manager will work closely with the finance team to support broader financial planning and risk management efforts.Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily cash management operations including cash positioning, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management. Develop and implement strategies for short-term investments and cash conservation to maximize returns and minimize financial risks. Manage banking relationships and negotiate bank services and fees. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in handling cash management activities. Coordinate with various departments to forecast needs and plan funding accordingly. Analyze financial records to forecast future financial position and budget requirements. Prepare and present reports detailing cash position, cash flow trends, and forecasts to senior management. Support the treasury team in managing foreign currency exposure (if any) and implementing hedging strategies. Liaise with auditors and financial consultants on cash management issues. Innovate and implement improvements in cash processes that align with the company’s financial strategies and compliance standards.Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. At least seven years of experience in treasury/cash management or a similar financial role within a corporate setting. Strong understanding of financial instruments, and banking relationships. Proficient in treasury management systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
