This job is a member of the Global Sales team.
You will be on the front line of driving change in the industry to bring customers more modern and rewarding ways to shop, book and fly on AA
What you'll do
Partner with corporate or agency accounts to develop outcomes to benefit the customers of American Airlines when they fly
Analyzes customer needs through both online and in-person meetings with agency or corporate partners
Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate field and staff departments
Prepares correspondence, proposals and presentations to support retailing activity
Communicates updates on AA products and services as needed
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
3+ years experience working in Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or other airline commercial teams
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Airline or business to business sales experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
Ability to communicate to high level executives
Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies
Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs
