Dallas Redimix and construction company is seeking an experienced accountant.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Responsible for the daily accounting needs of the company, including: payables, receivables, tax filings preparing for CPA, and regulatory reports for internal and external sources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Timely and accurate weekly and monthly financial reporting
Maintain General Ledger system and associated spreadsheets, or other reporting tools
Prepare summary/forecasting reports in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations
Prepare and review reports with Management
Remain compliant with state, local and federal accounting principles, tax filings and prepare required reports for regulatory agencies as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must have superior organizational skills
Must have thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Quick Books
Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers and vendors.
Your experience should include bookkeeping and accounting exposure, an working knowledge of Quick Books standard as well as strong Word and Excel. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and transportation accounting processes and procedures.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
