Job Title: Chief EngineerJob DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer who can dive deep into technical challenges, guide the team, and create and lead technical roadmaps. You will be at the forefront of solving difficult problems while also being able to zoom out and see the big picture of the program. The ideal candidate will be known in the industry, or have a reputation that precedes them, and will be comfortable interacting with various departments, including the C-suite, and representing the company at conferences.Responsibilities
Dive deep into complex technical problems.
Guide the team and create technical roadmaps.
Write code and develop roadmaps.
Pick the hardest challenges in the architecture.
Interact with other departments and the C-suite.
Represent the company at conferences.
Assign work with some lateral freedom, assuming a high level of expertise.
Advise the CEO on technical changes and priorities.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in C and C. Preferred Aerospace/ Satellite Experience / Flight Software
Full Life Cycle Software Engineer- expert / initiative / big picture thinking – C/C
Extensive experience in software engineering.
Preferred experience in aerospace, satellite, or flight software.
Expertise in full life cycle software engineering.
Ability to think both in detail and with a big-picture perspective.
