We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales
The successful Sales Associate will constantly strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations.
Job duties:
· Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
· Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s need
· Assist in ensuring that the product presentation area is clean and organized
· Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
· Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product features
· Managing and executing in-person appointments at the store with customers to work with client projects needs and possible products presentations.
· Demonstrate complete familiarity with Rodriguez Tile Group products, in order to provide recommendations to clients as needed
· Meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals while representing Rodriguez Tile Group company. Work with customers to ensure all sample/price requests are followed up in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Qualifications
Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to positively interact with many different types of clients in-person
Experience working with interior designers, contractors and projects of all sizes
Design-focused with strong awareness of our product and current trends in home design
The flexibility to work independently but also collaboratively when needed
Willingness to ask for help and share your knowledge
Strong thinking skills with attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly
Highly focus on customer service
A minimum of 3-5 years sales background with a proven sales track record
College degree preferred but not required
Skills & qualifications:
Experience on sales of Floors, Tiles and Veneer Stones preferable
General understanding of the principles of sales
Strong communication skills
High school diploma required
Bachelors in marketing or sales is preferred
Experience with customer service
Proven track record in achieving sales quotas
Required hours / week: 52
Overtime weekly/ Up to 12 hrs
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 per hour
