Environmental Engineering Technician

AECOM has an opening for an Environmental Engineering Technician at our Amarillo, TX site. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable and have good interpersonal communication skills.  Job Description SummaryPerforms standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations.Sets up and operates standard testing equipment of moderate complexity.Performs fieldwork, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.Operates heavy equipment, including a tractor and attachments.Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.Ability to work independently.Collection of soil and groundwater samples.Mechanically inclined with experience operating and maintaining remediation systems, including air sparge and biovent systems.Engagement in behavior-based safety programs.
