We are searching for a Project Specialist who enjoys customer interactions! This individual will interface regularly and effectively with external customers and internal team members with timely follow ups, escalations and resolutions of internal and external customers/Engineer’s requests/issues.
Assist Project Engineering with Pre-Sales & Quoting activities including:
Contract review and risk evaluation processes and procedures.
Generate compliance matrices to aid in review of complex documents.
Generate Bill of Materials, source approved suppliers and submit RFQs to vendors for purchased components or outside process. Follow up on quote.
Assist Project Engineering with Post-Sales & order management activities including:
Monitoring customer portals for schedule updates, new requests, and follow up with vendors on delivery and manufacturing issues.
Generate PO Requests with applicable flowdowns of customer’s requirements.
Track production schedule of jobs and alert Project Engineers/Customer of delays / manufacturing issues and field customer status updates
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School education or GED
Minimum 3+ years of previous experience in a customer-facing role and manufacturing environment required
Blueprint reading and familiarity with other technical documents preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle many tasks simultaneously; and can adapt to an ever-changing workload and proactively responding to various last-minute requests is also necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Post secondary education desired
Previous program management experience a plus
