We are working with a client to recruit a Helpdesk Technician for their Beaumont, TX location. This is an on-site, contract-to-hire position and will provide support to all corporately owned stores along with corporate staff and minimal support to franchise stores. The Helpdesk Technician will report to IT Support Manager. Hours of operation are Monday ? Sunday, 5 AM-12 AM.Responsibilities:Support and maintain all Point-of-Sale (POS) systemsImage replacement systemsTroubleshoot Hardware, Software and PrintersManage email, domain and legacy system accountsSome Cellular supportResearch questions using available information resourcesFollow standard helpdesk proceduresLog all helpdesk interactionsIdentify and escalate situations requiring urgent attentionTrack and route problems and requests, and document resolutionsStay current with system information, changes and updatesMinimum Requirements2+ years of troubleshooting hardware, networking and softwarePassword resets, adding and removing users, printer setup and managing accountsOpening and closing troubleshooting ticketsRemote desktop experienceKnowledge and experience of customer service practicesStrong Oral and written communication skills for both internal and external customers
