The HT Group has partnered with a company in Bridge City to recruit and hire two System Administrators for their team. The Systems Administrator is an important part of the team that supports state-of-the-art transportation software used to route and permit oversize and overweight truck loads all over North America. This person must have a deep, broad understanding of computer software, hardware and networks, as well as experience leading other IT professionals. The Systems Administrator will be the primary point of contact for all issues related to IT and therefore, must be highly professional and capable to communicate with internal users, external clients and vendors. This is an on-site position (No remote) with normal working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:Designing, organizing, modifying and supporting company?s computer systemsInstalling, upgrading and monitoring software and hardwareMaintaining operating systems, security tools, business applications, email, web-servers (local and remote), laptops and desktop PCsProviding desktop, telephone, network and server supportCoordinating with remote data center personnel for the installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance of off-site serversPurchasing of hardware, equipment and softwareManaging DNS and SSL processesContinuously improve network and system security and performanceTroubleshoot problems reported by internal and external customers in order to develop highly effective solutionsDesigning and deploying networks; maintain network servers such as file servers, FTP sites and VPN gatewaysAdministering servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patchesResponding to calls for assistance after hoursLeading a team of 2 - 5 IT professionals:

Provide positive leadership that fosters high performanceGive feedback frequently to improve individual and team performancePromote a culture that values growth and developmentIdentify opportunities for development for team membersCoach, train and mentor dailyQualifications:Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, or relevant experience2+ years of previous experience managing technology infrastructure supporting 100+ employees and large scale projectsExperience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2008-2019+Experience with Sonicwall firewallsExperience with Barracuda load balancersExperience with Microsoft SQL serverExperience with installing and configuring VMwareExperience with configuring IISExperience with penetration scanners: Acunetix, Hacker Guardian
