Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Leander/North Austin

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20-$32 per hour DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes. The Heavy Equipment Operator will work on a variety of projects, including construction, demolition, and excavation. The candidate must be able to operate equipment safely and efficiently to ensure the timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes.

- Work and alternate with team members to accomplish ground tasks. (“That’s not my job” attitude will not be tolerated)

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as checking fluid levels and replacing filters.

- Follow safety procedures and adhere to company policies.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Read and interpret blueprints and other project documentation.

- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the quality of work.

- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.

- Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documentation.

- Good communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

- Valid driver's license.

- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred.
