Service Technician Austin TX REMOTE with heavy travel in Tx area
Location Acton with travel covering all of Texas and surrounding states. 50% will be overnight travel depending out what's needed
Responsibilities:
● Troubleshooting electrical and refrigeration Systems on customer sites
● Installation and machine maintenance, which includes diagnosis, repairs, certification and re-calibration of various machines at the customer sites, to conform to factory specifications and accuracy standards.
● Performing service calls at customer sites to correct possible problems involving company products.
● Providing technical support to other service representatives and customers.
● The design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems.
● Technical duties include tasks that are both mechanical and electrical.
● Mechanical duties include assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues on automated equipment.
● Electrical duties include diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of control systems
● Interacting with new product development teams to establish inspection and test processes for new products.
● Defining product and system test and inspection requirements.
● Participating in a team environment to develop and design new and existing products.
● Responsible for the successful execution of warranty troubleshooting and repair when required.
Education and Experience:
● High School Diploma or equivalent experience
● 5+ years of relevant service experience; preferably in an industrial equipment industry.
● RT License with any state for Refrigeration.
● Cascade experience preferred.
● Experience with test equipment including multimeters, digital power supplies, logic analyzers.
● Experience troubleshooting Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration and Software issues on industrial equipment.
● Experience reading control panel schematics of industrial equipment.
