Become a part of a developing ranch retreat at Upton Ranch on the Colorado river in Smithville, TX. We are seeking a part-time/full-time ranch hand to help clear brush, perform handyman type tasks and maintain and manage the grounds and land for our Airbnbs. The position will evolve over the next few years as new properties come online. Currently have two properties for rent.
Qualifications:
- Must have a reliable transportation and driving record
- Must have experience with skid steer operation
- Knowledgeable in handyman type skills
- Polite and good communicator
- Possess a high level of work ethic
- Self starter and comfortable making suggestions, if deemed necessary
- Requires physical strength and endurance
Duties included but not limited to:
- Assist in tasks related to the ranch and airbnb house maintenance
- Supplementary light maintenance and clean-up of property (ie blow leaves and debris off patios,pressure wash, trail and brush maintenance and non-specialty repairs, where needed)
- General upkeep of Airbnb (Short Term Rental) properties and ensure all amenities are in good working order
-Willing to work on some weekend days
- Maintain the pool regarding brushing, cleaning skimmers and chemical maintenance
- Skid steer work around the property
Start date begins as soon as possible. Compensation discussed at the interview based on skill level.
