I am looking for a skilled individual for ongoing on-call skilled carpentry and handyman projects (some projects may require specialized contractors so I would need help identifying the right source and overseeing the work):

Home (a 1920s frame house near UT campus that has undergone a couple of extensive but now dated renovations):
Finish up an ongoing living room renovation project: Paint/drywall; install can ceiling lights; install antique wall light fixtures; light trim carpentry; install fireplace tile; paint hearth; bathroom renovations (2 full and 1 half-bath) tile, fixtures, floors; hardwood floor refinishing in two bedrooms and an upstairs family room; assist in addition involving extending exterior wall about 15 ft with downstairs kitchen finishout; back entry and upstairs bedroom extension and exterior deck rebuild. Much of this contracted out but I want someone to help me oversee it.
Everyday handyman projects as required.
Business (an 11,000 sq ft office/industrial space near the Mueller development that is set to undergo re-roofing and exterior/interior rehab upgrade in the coming months):
Before extensive rehab, the property needs basic handyman care from time to time (example: there is a leak through an exterior cinderblock and stucco wall that probably just needs hunting down the leak and re-caulking). Also, before interior renovation we will want to demolish a wood-framed mezzanine approx 2,000 ft, so someone to oversee that project. Occasional minor plumbing or electrical issues that my employees can't handle on their own. When the roofing and rehabilitation project commences I need help consulting with contractors and an architect to make sure the project is successful and cost-effective.
I also own a property in Del Valle that sometimes has repair needs for the security gate and a mini-storage building.
This is hopefully an ongoing long-term arrangement requiring from 5 to 30 hours / week with quite a lot of flexibility so you are free to handle other projects and gigs you may have. Honesty and trust are paramount to me as well as a pleasant and positive demeanor.
Please provide experience and credentials as well as hourly expectations (I have been paying $32/hr but am flexible depending on experience and productivity).
