Nomad Tiny Homes is a family-owned business specializing in custom, high-quality tiny homes. We build indoors in our dedicated 7,200 sq. ft. warehouse, ensuring a controlled, efficient, and safe work environment. We take pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and attention to detail.
We are looking for a skilled Construction Lead with a strong background in home building who can take projects from frame to finish. If you are a hands-on leader with construction expertise and enjoy building homes with a small, dedicated team, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
Lead and actively participate in the construction of tiny homes, from framing to finishing.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and build plans.
Supervise and coordinate work with framers, electricians, plumbers, and finish carpenters.
Maintain build schedules, ensuring homes are completed on time and on budget.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Operate power tools, saws, nail guns, and other necessary equipment.
Communicate with management regarding project progress and any issues.
Train and mentor team members as needed.
Requirements
5+ years of residential construction experience (tiny home or modular home experience is a plus).
Expertise in framing, siding, finish carpentry, and general home construction.
Ability to lead a team and problem-solve on-site.
Experience reading blueprints and working with building plans.
Comfortable working in a warehouse-based construction setting.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Must be reliable, punctual, and available Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience leading a construction crew.
Experience with custom home building, modular homes, or tiny homes.
Knowledge of NOAH and ANSI 119.5 standards (a plus, but not required).
