About the Role
We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Account Manager to manage current accounts, drive new sales within the existing customer base and actively develop new client relationships that lead to new logo sales. This role is 60% account management and 40% new business development.
As a consultative sales expert, you will identify client needs, propose tailored technological solutions, and drive revenue growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute account strategies to retain and expand business relationships.
Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding clients' industries and aligning solutions to meet their needs.
Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for voice, internet, IT, cloud & AI services.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract signing and implementation.
Maintain detailed CRM records with notes, tasks, and follow-ups.
Partner with our technical resources to deliver complex cloud and telecom solutions.
Be a customer advocate, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of post-sales issues.
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in B2B sales, in telecom, IT, or cloud services. Must have sold Business internet, voice, IT, cloud, Data Center services to be considered for the role.
Strong negotiation, closing, and solution-based selling skills.
Technical knowledge of voice, data, and cloud solutions, including UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP, SD-WAN, SaaS, and IaaS & IT related services.
Experience working with vendor partners or the ability to establish strong vendor relationships.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
Prior experience responding to RFPs and RFIs is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred – or equivalent experience in telecom-technology sales.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $36K - $48K (DOE) + Commission, Bonus, Profit Sharing, Equity potential.
1st Year Target: $83K - $95K (at quota)
2nd Year Target: $96K - $108K+ (at quota)
