General Summary:

Reports to Vice President of Operations

Primary Responsibility:

We are looking for an experiencedStore Directorto oversee the daily operations of our store. You will be the one to ensure smooth running of operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.

The ideal candidate will have experience as astore managerand knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, marketing etc. An effective S/D will also be able to motivate personnel to perform according to their maximum capacity.

The goal is to manage our store in ways that boost revenues and develop the business.

Essential Functions:

Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel

Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance

Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency

Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget

Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation

Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise

Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays

Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store

Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts

Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

Experience and Skills:

Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position

Knowledge of retail management best practices

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Excellent organizing and leadership skills

Commercial awareness

Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles

Excellent knowledge of retail management software

Ability to multi-task and coordinate ongoing projects, plans and people;

Work well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines;

Highly organized and detail oriented;

Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);

Working knowledge of SAP preferred

Love of brainstorming, problem-solving, being creative and resourceful;

Positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm for community and people;

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field;

Able to work flexible hours: open to working days, nights, weekends & holidays;

Excellent communication and interpersonal social skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience working in a retail environment , ideally inn a managerial role

Strong leadership and customer management abilities

Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:

Work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Sitting, Standing, Walking, throughout the day.

Staring at a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.

Working environment is almost always indoors.

May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds, and distracting noise levels, such as from office chatter & equipment.

May travel between different locations such as corporate offices to attend meetings
