Looking for an organized, reliable assistant to provide a few hours of support monthly for both professional and personal tasks (about 8-10/month on average). You are an expert Googler/researcher, are comfortable with spreadsheets, and can handle a variety of projects with tact, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Hours are flexible, some of the work will be virtual, with some in-person tasks (E.g. basic on site property management tasks, miscellaneous errands)
Responsibilities:
-Assist with managing Airbnb property: confirming property is spotless and ready for guests, take out/replace trash/recycling bins; water plants
-Occasionally research various subjects as needed, ranging from real estate to technology products, to service professionals
-Run errands including post office, Home Depot, etc.
-Correspond and communicate with vendors, property managers, and tenants
-Assist with various administrative tasks (filling out documents, etc.)
-Coordinate repair visits and occasionally meet/supervise technicians
-Very basic bookkeeping (training can be provided)
-check mail occasionally, scan what looks important
Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting busy individuals is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, loyalty and security measures regarding all confidential matters. Will sign an NDA agreement and complete a background check.
- Highly organized
- Good writing and communication skills
-Have a printer and scanner (we can figure out a solution if you don’t have one)
-Have a reliable vehicle
-Have a sharp eye for spotting detail
-Comfortable with commonly used office productivity tools (Google Docs, Sheets/Excel, etc.)
-Solid references from previous employers or other professional endeavors
Terms: $30/hr
Location: Computer based tasks are virtual; property related tasks must be done on-site in East Austin (living nearby will be beneficial)
Typical work times: flexible, mostly during the week, but on rare occasions during the weekend
