Law Firm is looking for an experienced legal assistant (secretary) for a full‐time position in our downtown office.
Must be a highly motivated self‐starter with the ability to analyze problems and operate independently when necessary.
Will be reporting to the managing partner.

Duties will include:
Participating in Client Intake calls & meetings
Verbal and written correspondence with clients
Working knowledge of e-filing documents in Federal and State Courts
Creating and editing correspondence and discovery from existing templates
Uploading and downloading medical records
Coordinating investigative needs under the direction of supervisors
Keeping organized notes and documentation on all files
Scheduling appointments, depositions and mediations
Making travel arrangements for firm employees
Various other tasks to assist with the daily work flow of the firm
Candidate must be:
Energetic, positive and goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills with both internal staff and external clients
Able to prioritize and work with as sense of urgency when needed to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, and Adobe Pro
Proficient in writing and editing, with superior attention to detail
Generally tech savvy
At least 1 year of experience working at a law firm, litigation firm experience a plus.
Mon Fri 8:30 – 5:30pm (some overtime will be required)
Hourly based on experience
