The Warranty and Parts Analyst completes and processes warranty paperwork and verifies criteria required by the vendor. This position ensures the accurate and complete data entry when processing parts and service warranty claims, performs audits, cycle counts and control activities to maintain the integrity of inventories and travels to field locations to conduct inventory and processes warranty claims.
Bachelor’s degree, which can be substituted with experience on a year-for-year basis with a maximum substitution of 4 years
At least one year of parts inventory and/or shop maintenance experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
Good recall for details and mechanical aptitude
Strong negotiating skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing objectives
Must be able to take responsibility for assigned projects and work effectively under general or minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to process large volumes of data
Ability to travel to company locations
Previous Automotive or Truck Dealership Service Advisor or Service Manager Experience
At least two years of industry or related experience
Experience working with warranties
Experience using databases and warranty tracking programs (i.e. Dossier)
Valid Class C driver’s license
Safe driving record for the past three years
