Warehouse Associate for HVAC Company

We are growing and expanding and need YOU to be a part of our growth! G & S Mechanical LLC is looking for long term team members in the Austin area. We have an immediate opening for a skilled HVAC Warehouse Associate. Previous experiences is a plus! Essential Responsibilities:

-Receive incoming shipments of HVAC equipment, components, and supplies.

-Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and invoices.

-Inspect received items for damage or defects and report any discrepancies.

-Pick and pack HVAC equipment and materials for outgoing installations or service calls.

-Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.

-Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

-Regularly update inventory records using computerized systems or software.

-Perform routine inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

-Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse layout and storage methods.

-Follow safety guidelines and protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

-Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and returns.

-Provide support to other warehouse associates and collaborate to achieve department goals.

-Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

-Properly handle and store hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.

-Comply with company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and/or Experience:

-The candidate must be punctual and dependable.

-Previous experience in warehouse operations

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

-Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

-The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment

-Effective communication and teamwork skills

-Basic math, reading, and writing skill

-Applicant must have a valid Texas driver's license.

Computer Skills:

-Basic computer skills

Required Education & Training:

-High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education & Training:

-Post-Secondary Technical Training, Class A License, Forklift experience, previous experience in the warehouse environment, familiar with warehouse

Recognized Certification:

OSHA 10, fort lift certification

Expected hours: 40 per week
