The Parts Specialist picks up and delivers parts to company sites, spending approximately 75% of the time driving. This position also performs clerical and organizational functions in the parts department, including monitoring stock locations, issuing parts and tools to maintain personnel, ordering supplies from vendors and recording data to ensure the department is able to maintain the fleet in safe condition.
High school diploma or its equivalent;
Two years of experience in retail, wholesale or automotive warehouse or up to a class 8 trucks and equipment inventory departments;
Must be able to be forklift-certified by the company;
Should have strong inventory and data entry skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced work environment; and
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Diesel mechanical background
Valid Class C driver’s license; and
Safe driving record for the last three years.
