While most of our clients are located throughout Williamson County, we also serve clients around the Austin Metro area.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Landscape Construction Foreman oversees and coordinates the daily activities of a crew to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape and hardscape techniques, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be dependable and show up on time.

Exceptional communication skills and good customer service.

Experience supervising a crew with leadership qualities and leading by example.

Team player who works alongside the rest of the crew.

Interpret landscape designs and blueprints, providing guidance to crew members on installation techniques and methods.

Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring all necessary resources are available and properly utilized.

Oversee the installation of landscape features, including planting, sodding, grading, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.

Monitor the quality of workmanship and attention to detail, providing feedback and guidance to crew members as needed.

Enforce safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.

Communicate with clients to address any concerns or issues, providing updates on project progress and timelines.

Physical ability to meet work demands in all weather conditions.

Must be able to pull a trailer.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience working in landscape and hardscape, with a minimum of 5 years experience and 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Thorough knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscape plans and blueprints.

Leadership and team management.

Landscape installation and construction.

Project planning and organization.

Communication and client relations.

Problem-solving and decision-making.

Safety awareness and compliance.

Equipment operation and maintenance.

Time management and prioritization.

The ability to communicate in Spanish is a MUST.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENCES:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in landscaping or a related field is preferred.

Construction certification is not required, but priority interviews will be given to those with them.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to operate landscape/hardscape equipment and machinery.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical labor as needed.

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.

Landscape Foreman works primarily outdoors, often in residential or commercial settings, and may be exposed to various weather conditions.

The job requires physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and operating machinery.

Safety precautions are essential to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on job sites.

Depending on the client and or project, Landscape Foremen may work regular hours or be required to adjust their schedules to meet project deadlines or client needs.

Typical hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm (some projects may require an earlier start time and/or later finish time depending on time restraints and deadlines)

COMPENSATION:

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

This is a 1099 position.

Weekly pay.
