The Heavy Equipment Operator II will operate various types or classes of heavy equipment in order to complete construction projects. This position may also be assigned Laborer duties, when needed.
At least one year of experience operating heavy equipment;
Ability to work without direct supervision;
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules and memorandums in English;
Ability to read and understand stakes;
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations;
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as being able to work independently with attention to detail; and
Available to work weekend or holiday shifts, as scheduled.
High school diploma or equivalent;
Basic mechanical knowledge;
First Aid or CPR training;
Valid Class C driver’s license; and
Safe driving record for the past three years
