Architectural Tile & Stone (ATS) is hiring a Head Warehouse person. We are a slab importer, tile distributor, and full turnkey slab fabricator. We have been in business for 25 years and family owned. We offer 401K with matching, we pay approximately 60-70% of Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance. We have a dental plan you can sign up for as well.
Responsibilities include:
-Work with fellow warehouseman.
-Drive forklift and operate overhead crane
-Help pull out trucks first thing in the morning and assist installation crews load A-frames.
-Move stone slabs in the warehouse/outdoor (covered) yard to prepare for clients to view.
-Bringing slabs to be cut into the shop.
-Unload containers with help (usually less than 12 times a year)
-Check in deliveries.
-Review sinks to be dropped off for job and make sure they are labeled and not broken.
-When checking in tile deliveries, must count tiles and Square Footage to verify accuracy. Verify that tiles are/aren't broken. Get proper paperwork from purchasing person so client can pick up their order.
-Do monthly cycle count (inventory) to verify what slabs have been cut. We do not do yearly inventory.
-Maintain warehouse, shop, property appearance for team and clients
-Sometimes we make our own tile showroom boards. Would need to mount a cleat to back of a wood board, paint wood to prepare for boards, work with sales team to organize boards to be hung in the showroom.
-Review inventory in computer to verify availability.
-Cut slab samples for sales team as requests arise.
-Assist with building maintenance.
-May need to drive dump trailer to dump occasionally.
Requirements:
-Mid- senior level experience needed.
-Must be legal to work in the US.
-Must have a valid drivers license.
-No felonies.
-Good Attitude
-Self starter
-Good communicator
-English required/Spanish a plus.
-Experience with stone slabs
