Nomad Tiny Homes, a premier tiny home builder in Dripping Springs, is looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our build team! The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and be proficient (or teachable) in various trade skills. As a Construction Crew Team Member, you will work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards. Your role will involve hands-on tasks that require physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to execute flooring installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship.
Execute frame carpentry tasks, including constructing walls and installing doors.
Engage in metal stud framing as needed for specific projects.
Utilize caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints effectively.
Lay tile according to design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
Fabricate components as required for various construction tasks.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials safely on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
Experience:
Framing (walls, floors, and roofs)
Carpentry (measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components)
Siding and Exterior Finish Work
Insulation Installation (foam board, spray foam, batts)
Roofing (metal roof installation)
Interior Wall and Ceiling Installation (T&G boards)
Flooring Installation (vinyl, hardwood, or tile)
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
All construction is completed in a 7,200 sq. ft. enclosed shop. The warehouse is fully equipped with tools set up and ready to work.
