Family Dentistry on Manchaca has an opening our team for an experienced Dental Assistant, looking for their new work home. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to ESTABLISH THEMSELVES LONG TERM and take on additional responsibilities as TEAM EXPERIENCE GROWS. Our patients enjoy our friendly and organized workspace; we are looking for a new team member who is able to uphold our core values and is passionate about delivering an exceptional overall patient experience. Qualifications & Skills:
Min 2+ years experience in dental back office- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is required
Proficiency using itero for scanning is a plus
Proficiency in making temp crowns is a plus
Proficiency in placing attachments is a plus
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with Open dental and Flex is a plus
Take X-rays and understand radiographic principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Certification in Dental Assisting
Maintain infection control protocols, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, as needed to help with front office
Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
We are looking for a permanent hire, and will only be entertaining serious inquiries that meet the minimum requirements listed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Competitive salary based on experience. Starting at $22 or more per hour

Monday to Friday ( Friday is half day)

High school or equivalent (Required)
Job distance:
Austin TX/ Kyle, TX: Between 31 and 40 miles (Preferred)
