El Monumento Bar Restaurant is looking for a skilled shift supervisor to join our team and help us ensure an outstanding team and guest experience.
Your main responsibilities would be to supervise employees during your shift, ensuring that they complete their tasks and work effectively. You will need to contribute to the production strategy by understanding the business goals and how to achieve them. Additionally, you'll need to act as a point of reference for both employees and customers, handling any issues that may arise.
As a shift supervisor, you will oversee daily activities and employee performance during your shift. It will be your responsibility to maximize customer satisfaction, handle requests or complaints, and ensure that the workspace is organized and stocked with essential supplies for smooth service.
Your responsibilities will also include managing daily schedules, employee shifts, and time-off requests, assigning duties to employees, and overseeing their progress. You'll need to ensure that daily sales or production goals are met, manage cash at the end of the shift, provide guidance and feedback to employees, and handle customer and employee complaints or conflicts.
In order to be considered, applicants should have previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or in a similar role. A thorough understanding of industry safety standards, as well as familiarity with basic software such as Word and Excel, are also required. The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, work well within a team, multitask, and exercise leadership and conflict management skills are all necessary.

Our current hours of operation are: Sunday - Thursday, 3 pm-9 pm, Friday - Saturday, 3 pm-10 pm; and Sunday Brunch, 10 am-2 pm.
