Help clients in Power Commodities, Natural Gas, and Renewable Energy markets transform their trading operations through process redesigns and organizational enhancements.

Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver actionable recommendations.

Gather and analyze functional requirements to create and document effective designs for trading and risk management solutions.

Configure systems and participate in test planning, execution, and end-to-end system validation to ensure successful implementation.

Contribute to the design and delivery of Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM/ETRM) solutions, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting

Stay informed on market dynamics in power trading, natural gas, and renewables to deliver industry-relevant insights and solutions.

Travel to client locations as required to ensure successful delivery and maintain strong client relationships.

Here's what you need:

3+ years of experience in the power commodity, natural gas, or renewable energy trading markets.

Experience and knowledge of US wholesale power RTOs (CAISO, NYISO, PJM, MISO, SPP, etc.). Exposure to Day Ahead/Real Time markets, LMP Pricing, Capacity markets, and ISO Settlements.

Familiarity with trading operations, including scheduling, nominations, and settlement processes in power and natural gas markets.

A Bachelor’s degree

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes.

Proven experience collaborating with clients to gather functional requirements and design trading solutions.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior executives.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to client locations.

Bonus Points if you have:

Knowledge of Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM/ETRM) systems, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting. These can include OpenLink Endur, or Allegro.

Familiarity with renewable energy trading processes, such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), and carbon markets.

Hands-on experience in implementing digital or data-driven solutions to optimize trading operations.

Advanced certifications or education, such as an MBA, CFA, or relevant industry certifications

A passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of trends in the energy transition, such as decarbonization and renewable integration
