Your CareerAs a Channel Technical Solutions Engineer, you provide technical expertise and support to channel partners on their journey towards becoming key Palo Alto Networks partners. You will play a key role in defining technical solutions, designing and optimizing lab environments, and supporting technical sales. This role involves collaborating with partners, providing product training, and ensuring successful product integration in non-production environments. A Channel Technical Solutions Engineer will act as a trusted advisor, driving growth by fostering strong relationships with channel partners and ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.Your Impact

Collaborating with channel partners to design, build, and optimize lab environments that simulate real-world solutions for their customers

Guiding partners through setting up, configuring, and testing product demos and other technical evaluations

Delivering technical training sessions to help partners understand and position solutions effectively

Creating and delivering technical training sessions to partners on product capabilities and configuration best practices

Developing and distributing technical documentation ensuring partners have the resources and knowledge to drive successful outcomes

Continuously investing in yourself to develop technical and professional skills that drive your ever-increasing contributions to partner success while actively participating within the SE community

Provide feedback to product management and specialist engineering teams on partner and customer requirements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products

Your Experience

4+ years of experience as a successful pre-sales SE, professional services engineer, or equivalent experience

Strong understanding of networking required; understanding of network security preferred

Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives

Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role - prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal

Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements

Experience selling, implementing, or managing Cortex/SaaS/cloud/managed/on-prem offerings is a plus

Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions

Prior experience working with channel is required, prior experience as a Channel SE preferred

Prior experience architecting cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred

Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $198000 - $273000/YR.
