Seeking personal assistant/office administrative type of personnel to assist with the basics of managing an office: working with clients, interface between team members, managing the schedule, checking emails, etc.
Our ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and pleased by the opportunity to work with animals here and there, including kangaroos, Camels, the basics like dogs and cats, rabbits, horses, cows, sheep, and goats! It is definitely a high paced environment and requires active communication.
The most important thing we are looking for is that team members show up when they say they are going to show up. Completely flexible hours with flex time available. Flex time does still require committing to a certain number of hours a week and being dutiful about completing those hours so that we can plan accordingly for healthy management the whole team!
Pay range will vary depending on the candidate and their hours, amenities & job area focus. For example, someone doing a lot of handling of the Kangaroo and learning to help Saddle break the camel, hand leading horses is going to generally earn a lower rate than someone who is in the office stealing with heavy hitter tasks like handling accounting or legal (although we do have positions available for horse professionals, who earn a liveable salary/employed hourly rate or contracted position).
For reference: Currently we have staff being paid anywhere from raw minimum wage up to $32/hr (+tips for animal professionals).
Key area of focus for this job is office admin, or more of a personal assistant w an administrative focus, so someone who doesn’t mind jumping in here and there or wherever is ideal!
