Description:You will be the PAC-3 Production Operations Sr. Manager for the PAC-3 leadership team. Our team is responsible for shaping operations strategy and leading the integration of all production operations activities across the PAC-3 portfolio, ensuring alignment with cross-functional strategies across the LTIAMD line of business.What You Will Be DoingAs the PAC-3 Production Operations Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large, multi-faceted production operations organization and developing long-term strategies to support the ever-changing needs of our business. You will serve as the primary interface to internal customers, site manufacturing leadership, and cross-functional teammates, coordinating production support from various functional organizations.Your responsibilities will include: Managing and distributing the PAC-3 Production Operations budget to all sites Overseeing schedule, cost, and quality for all sites Developing and integrating long-term PAC-3 Production Operations Strategy Managing program Make/Buy and long-term strategy Leading talent and organizational development, culture optimization initiatives, and affordability initiatives Coordinating with other functional organizations, such as Program Management, Quality Engineering, and Design Engineering Traveling to production sites to coordinate production support (typically 2-5 days, with occasional longer-term travel)Why Join UsWe're looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to join our PAC-3 leadership team. Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.Basic Qualifications:Must have a completed bachelors degree. Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance. Possess appropriate political acumen to communicate persuasively with a variety of customers (Project Office, Program Office and Senior Management). Strong communication skills. Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence. A clear understanding of production processes. A history of mid to high rate Production Operations Management on large Production and/or Developmental Programs. The candidate will be functionally aligned with the Production Operations organization and must have the basic skills required of a production operations managerDesired Skills:A background knowledge of the PAC-3 program and manufacturing experience. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
