Eaton’s EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Material Handler 1st Shift. The core hours are 4:00 am to 12:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $17.91 - $22.39 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Keep workstations fully stocked with materials, thus controlling the continuous flow of products between different areas utilizing the KB cards.
Replenishing materials in each area, according to the production leveling schedule (Heijunka Wheel)
Discipline to confirm transactions after material is moved during manufacturing operations (Each transaction must be reported/written in the material transactions sheet).
Communicating line/area needs with supervisors: Oversee how materials and supply orders are moved and communicate this information to management.
Managing manufacturing inventory counts: Keeps track of the inventory during manufacturing to replenish supplies and remove waste as quickly as possible.
Keeps operations running efficiently.
Perform and report cycle counts.
Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
Qualifications:Basic (Required):
High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment
Certification to ride forklift truck
Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Amarillo facility (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
