Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Alliance: 10864 Texas Health Trail Fort Worth, Texas 76244Work hours: PRN; Must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes.Department highlights:· Team based environment· Workplace culture 2 nd to none· Great benefits/ 401kHere’s What You NeedQualificationsEducation· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program required OR· Four (4) years of experience in congregational pastoral care (not general ministry) in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree require OR· Master’s Degree – Master’s of Divinity, Theology, or related degree from a Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)accredited theological school 72-hour degree program preferredExperience· 4 years without a Bachelor’s degree – 4 years of experience in congregational pastoral care required OR· With a Bachelor’s degree – no previous experience required AND· Experience in congregational or hospital setting preferred AND· 1 unit of CPE from an ACPE-accredited center (must be completed within 2 years of employment) requiredWhat You Will Do· Patient care: Provide professional pastoral and spiritual care to patients and their loved ones, using excellent listening, observational, assessment, interventional and written documentation skills.· Assess patient and family spiritual resources and vulnerabilities, offering corresponding interventions.· Document care in electronic medical record, using Pastoral Care standardized processes.· Ability to respond to calls within 10 minutes and arrive within 30 minutes. Provide on-call report when called into the hospital.· Support Pastoral Care Department: Report payroll exceptions promptly. Participate in Pastoral Care staff meetings when requested . Be knowledgeable of and comply with all Pastoral Care Department policies and procedures.
