As part of the IT Security team you will use your passion for building a security operations/incident response program to ensure that the security operations are exceeding the highest of security standards. . The role requires strong experience in the operation of a wide range of security technologies as well as the skills to analyze and respond to cyber security threats that actively target businesses today.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinate all incident monitoring and reporting
- Provide day-to-day technical and process leadership by designing and building a comprehensive and structured incident response program
- Provide guidance and improve processes/tools for a mature Vulnerability Management program.
- Collaborate with partner domains in the resolution of vulnerable systems
- Lead structured hunting for anomalous activity indicative of bad actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Identify active threats to Corporate environments including websites, corporate networks, third party services and endpoints
- Automate security alerting and response capabilities
- Take a leadership role in engineering and integrating into SIEM solutions.
- Assist in composing cyber security related communications for wide audiences.
- Technical and professional mentorship of team members
- Solid background in information security and incident response including strong knowledge in threat hunting, MITRE ATT&CK and building/tuning detection logic
- Solid understanding of Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence techniques
- Strong technical knowledge in Networking, Windows, Linux, Firewalls, DNS, EDR, IDS/IPS, Email Security, MFA, Active Directory
- Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/CCNA/CCNP a plus
- Experience with scripting languages is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
