Overview-
Great full=time opportunity to join an exclusive organization, providing services to the hospitality industry. Our boutique resort on Jost Van Dyke, BVI, strongly focuses on eco consciousness and sustainability while providing a unique island experience. This career position will report directly to the CEO in the company’s USVI office while working with an on-island team property management staff in both USVI and BVI, as well as a variety of vendors, suppliers and government offices as needed in both territories.
Administrative Responsibilities-
Provide a world-class client experience.
Ensuring compliance with BVI and USVI with safety regulations.
Ensure all licensing and registration is current for boat.
Bookkeeping of vessel accounts (boat books) and maintenance of budget.
Assisting with completing customs reports for guests on boat.
Planning and implementing maintenance work
Research and purchase of all maintenance supplies
Maintain a close relationship with Reservations Manager, Business Office Manager, General Manager and CEO
Working to maintain a positive relationship between the boat, government offices, and vendors.
Boat Responsibility-
Operate a private boat in waters of the USVI and BVI.
Facilitate boat cleaning, stocking and arrange all maintenance required.
Working to maintain positive relationships among White Bay Management, dock masters, USVI and BVI Customs and other vessels.
Prompt written and verbal incident reports to the CEO and General Manager
Sourcing and securing necessary supplies for the resort in the BVI and USVI.
Requirements-
Needs to be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
Licensed Coast Guard Captain with credentials.
Valid Coast Guard Certifications
Demonstrate knowledge of local waters and USVI/ BVI Custom requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
