Diesel Mechanic
Requirements and Responsibilities
Performs routine inspections, maintains and repairs forklifts, pallet jacks, pickups, heavy duty trucks, trailers, generators, etc. Will be responsible for diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical trouble shooting, steering and cooling systems. Keeps track of the maintenance work on the vehicles. Ensures services provided are in compliance with safety procedures. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Will report to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
