Tramway Properties Inc., also known as Paradise Point, is currently looking to fill a vacancy for a tram operator:
Responsibilities:
- Assists in loading and off loading of guests from the tram at both the top and bottom stations.
- Keeps loading stations clear of debris and tripping hazards.
- Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Responsible for daily safety inspections, logs, and line control.
- Responds to emergency situations, that could possibly include repelling of guests from tram cars.
- Adheres to Tramway Properties, Inc. safety policies and procedures.
- Communicates safety concerns and guest issues to proper personnel.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 21 years old
- Must be a high school graduate, or have GED. Experience in mechanics, electrical, welding, plumbing, or similar is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Fluent in a second language is preferred.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be a great team player.
- Must be able to work at heights and for long periods of time in the outside elements.
- Must be able to handle a heavy work load.
- Must live on St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
