Production Manager

Virgin Islands Coffee Roasters is a family-owned coffee company that looks for individuals who want to grow their talent, strive to better the product, and take pride in their workplace.

Virgin Islands Coffee Roasters operates a roasting facility and retail space on St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. This position is for a Production Manager who will be the go-between for processing customer orders, coordinating coffee production & overseeing the production team, retail/roastery space & managing day-to-day operations.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Communicate with customers & process weekly coffee orders and grocery inventory.

Coordinate with roaster and packing team to accurately fill orders, manage schedule & assist with packing when needed.

Set up new small to medium customer accounts.

Send equipment estimates & schedule installs.

Arrange deliveries and coordinate irregular customer deliveries.

Manage & send out online orders, keeping the website & online store updated.

Prepare invoices, receive payments, & send bi-monthly statements & aging invoices, assisting with AR.

Complete weekly internal progress reporting.

Perform regular inventory of supplies, goods, and merchandise, purchasing as needed, managing logistics, and receiving.

Manage the service schedule and invoicing in collaboration with the service tech, communicating with customers and purchasing service parts as needed.

Manage the self-serve retail space, assisting customers as needed.

Working independently, multi-tasking & managing the production team & day-to-day operations.

Maintain a regular cleaning schedule to ensure peak cleanliness and organization.

Must be able to lift & arrange 30lb boxes of coffee orders.

Experience & Attributes sought:

Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee.

Strong mathematical and time management skills.

Professional & responsible, self-motivated individual who can work independently & multi-task.

3 years of management experience & college degree preferred.

Ability to work with different online platforms, excel, & Quickbooks.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, sometimes longer as needed.

Starting pay at $45,000/year.
