Ocean Runner by Low Key is seeking a full-time Small Boat Attendant & General Laborer to join our growing team on St John!
Salary Details: Competitive base hourly pay + gratuity and benefits.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
Customer service skills
Light mechanical knowledge preferred but not required
Ability to lift 30 lbs
This position will be responsible for the following duties:
Readying our 4 Boston Whaler boats for customer rentals
Cleaning and maintaining the boats
Briefing customers on boat operations, safety, travel areas, etc.
Filling up gas cannisters at the gas station
Transporting dive tanks to and from our dock
Receiving and putting away drink stock
General cleaning and maintenance of our office, grounds, boats & vehicles

Schedule:
10 hour days, 5 days a week (the number of days and the schedule are somewhat flexible, but all shifts are approximately 10 hours).
Some holidays and weekend shifts will be required - we are open 365 days a year
Ocean Runner by Low Key Watersports is the premier boat charter company in the Virgin Islands. Our company is constantly growing, and we are currently hiring an energetic person to join our team as a Small Boat Attendant and General Laborer. You will be responsible for prepping our 15’ and 16’ Boston Whalers rental boats in the morning. You will also be responsible for the guest’s orientation and check-outs in the morning and receiving and washing down the boats in the afternoon. Between morning checkouts and the time that the boats return in the afternoon, you will be responsible for helping with company errands and general upkeep of company property.
A valid driver’s license and working cellphone are required for this position. Prior knowledge of boats, general mechanical abilities, and the ability to drive small boats is a big plus. This is a customer service position and any prior customer service-related experience will be a benefit.
We offer competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience. This position also receives gratuities from guests.
