RPS has an exciting permanent full time opportunity available for

Assistant Project Manager to join our

RAAF Base Tindal team in

Katherine on a permanent basis, to assist in delivering a $1.1 billion major Defence project that will be delivered over the next six years.

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager this position will undertake a range of duties including but not limited to assisting with the planning and co-ordination of the project to deliver outcomes, which meet the required standards, on time and to a budget while satisfying the needs of the client/s and RPS.

Qualifications

  • Australian citizenship and holding or be able to successfully obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is

    mandatory.
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent related field;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry;
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail;
  • Well-developed presentation and communication skills;
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project is not essential but would be desirable.
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
