Your New Role

Leidos has been engaged by a Federal Government Department to work closely with other top tier partners to provide a leading Cybersecurity capability for critical infrastructure components.

We are tasked with developing and delivering cyber security services to directly support the Department’s mission. We are seeking highly motivated and appropriately experienced staff to help us deliver outstanding results.

These roles are not your typical Cybersecurity setup. There are some unique requirements with scope for you to substantially improve the customer’s operational capabilities.

These roles will need you to be understanding of the needs of the end user and to be able to provide services in a secure environment.

We are seeking candidates from a variety of backgrounds, with appropriate experience from Tier 1 Cybersecurity analysis through to service delivery, application engineering, infrastructure specialists, GRC specialists, threat hunters, intelligence specialists and other related roles.

Our Intelligence Analyst role will provide you with an opportunity to use your experience in the intelligence area to provide relevant and current assessment of threats against deployed systems including generic threats as well as deployment specific threats such as localised temporary events or other items. This role is critical to assisting with managing risks associated to people and equipment in the field.

You will have the following responsibilities

  • Correlation of information from multiple sources including deployment locations and undertake assessments to assist with risk management and other items;
  • Work with third party teams to share information in a bidirectional proactive fashion;
  • Engage with appropriate groups to ensure information is disseminated to appropriate areas; and
  • Translation of source data into operational/tactical risks for consumption by the team including recommended actions.

Qualifications

About You and What You'll Bring

As a seasoned Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will bring your wealth of experience and knowledge to conduct proactive cyber defence.

You will have the following skills/knowledge:

  • At least 3 years in similar role;
  • Defence/Intelligence background; and
  • An understanding of where to source information from including public/commercial/other data sources.

You will have the following attributes:

  • Culturally aware of areas in which Defence may operate around the world;
  • Strong articulate communicator;
  • Good industry contacts to facilitate sourcing of information;
  • Willing to mentor other staff;
  • Willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers mission needs are met; and
  • Multi lingual (desirable).

Additional Information

Successful candidates will be required to be Australian Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance. NV-2 Clearance preferred, but an NV-1 clearedcandidate with strong experience and team fit will be considered.
