Maintenance officer

About the role: We seek an applicant who is self-motivated, has good communication skills and is able to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. Undertake maintenance and repair work for the restaurant building and grounds to ensure it is a safe environment for the organisation. Key Responsibilities:  Ensure building systems and machines run smoothly e.g. air conditioning, pumps etc.Undertake repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings e.g. replacing locks, windows & light bulbs, patching holes, woodwork repairsPerform routine maintenance of equipmentEstimate repair costs and document repairs undertakenHandle, store, and distribute goods and materialsMove equipment and furniture as requiredUpkeep organisation grounds e.g. mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, disposing of litterAssist with company improvements e.g. fencing, paving, and gardening projectsComplete daily grounds maintenance reportsTrain new employees in grounds-keeping duties.
