Ultimate LLC has an immediate need for a Controls Electrical EngineerFranklin, TN or Remote - Salary is $100k-$123k depending on experienceAbout the Role:As a Controls Engineer, you will serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of material handling controls systems. You will work with both pre and post contract teams within the client as you interface with controls and electrical suppliers to solve our clients’ problems. We’ll appreciate your attention to detail, creative thinking, and flexibility as you support multiple projects during their various phases.In this role, you will:
Utilize your experience with control systems to complete control drawing layouts
Complete controls take-offs
Complete estimates for field wiring and controls
Maintain / enhance pricing tools
Review client requests for proposal to understand the controls and electrical requirements
Produce RFPs for sub-contractors, working with Applications Engineers, Estimators, and sub-contractors to ensure scopes of work are well-defined
Evaluate bids submitted by suppliers to provide recommendations to the estimating and leadership teams
Evaluate contract deliverables from suppliers to ensure they meet project scope requirements
Keep abreast of new technologies to aid in better designs
Perform site and supplier visits as required

You are an outstanding communicator, orally and written.
