Job Title: Project Master Schedule Analyst Location: Arnold AFB, TN (On-Site) Canvas is seeking a mid-level Project Master Schedule Analyst! This position is to provide assistance and advisory services to the DoD at Arnold AFB. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develop, manage, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple programs within the AEDC facility.
Conduct Schedule Health Assessments (SHA) ensuring schedules follow industry best practices. Develop and analyze resource loaded schedules identifying resource conflicts, constraints and over allocations.
Perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) using software suites such as Acumen Fuse.
Ability to run primary and secondary critical paths while identifying major driving factors and near critical candidates.
Assess schedule execution probabilities while ensuring program scope and requirements are accurately captured.
Prepare data to brief Program Managers and key stakeholders on program performance.
Understand and analyze earned value metrics and data.
Identify potential cost/schedule overruns and offer mitigation steps.
Existing proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly familiarize and learn cost and schedule specific software tools such as Primavera, MS Project, Peoplesoft Financial, Acumen Fuse, Milestones Professional software.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline; Master's degree desired. Experience may be substituted for education with customer concurrence.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency using tool for cost and schedule analysis (Peoplesoft Financial, Microsoft Project, Primavera) and ability to quickly learn other cost and schedule specific tools.
Proficiency using the standard Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must be a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced/high operations tempo environment with multiple customer demands.
Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written and willingness to be a vocal and actively contributing member of the team.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
