Vaco is looking for several junior Linux - Store Systems Admins for a 4-5 month project. There is a possibility of extension or full time conversion and they will sit onsite in Nashville. Training is available while on the project. You will be writing, testing, and implementing shell scripts to automate the QA process of testing of the POSs being installed. The core work hours are 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm, but there may be some after hours support on a rotating basis.

The main job responsibilities include the setup and maintain store systems (Oracle Linux OS). Provide computer/network support relating to software and hardware failure on Linux systems. Write, test, and implement shell scripts to automate and simplify the support of the 100+ lab systems. Assist in the quality assurance testing of applications that run on the Linux store systems.

Must Haves:1+ years working experience with Linux (Oracle Preferred)
