Position: AutoZone is looking to expand their automation testing team and will be looking for QE specialist. This position will be focusing primarily on automation testing and development and will require experts who can develop code and test it. The Test Engineer will be responsible for creating, executing & continuously enhancing automated test scripts within a highly robust, maintainable, and efficient testing framework. You will be able to analyze the application and testing assets to create robust and effective automated tests for in-sprint functional, non-functional, regression and deployment testing. The Test Engineer will primarily employ automated test strategies, but some manual testing may be required from time to time. Perks:

- Setting up, maintaining and performing test automation on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Build and execute test-cases in the following areas: functional, integration, security, stability, performance, stress. Develop and execute a variety of tests to ensure compliance & quality (integration tests, performance tests, end to end tests, security tests. etc.)
- Develop automation tests to deploy and maintain systems and applications in multiple CI pipelines.
- Build and drive comprehensive test strategies (manual/automated) that covers all systems.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to develop a comprehensive Test Plan that validates product functionality.
- Participate in code reviews within the team and across other teams to ensure implementations adhere to goals, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to the design of automation frameworks, automation infrastructure, and various tools.
- Delegate work to other Systems Engineers and Associate Systems Engineers.
- Develop End to End, System/Integration, and User-focused test plans and strategies using product requirements and design documents.
- Help mentor and teach junior resources, provide them with direction and delegation.
- Ask questions to ensure requirements are feasible, implementation is efficient, and the design is aligned with the technical direction set by your team and Architects.
- Work with a wide-array of technologies: Java, Selenium, Automation, API, SQL, React/Angular/JavaScript, and others
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science field
- Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Experience with software development
- Experience using Java and Selenium for testing
- Experience developing and writing Automation test scripts and frameworks
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL, Postgres, etc.)
- The ability to present to team members
- Ability to work fully remote
