QA with IVR & Spanish– Memphis, TN

Work Experience:

Six (6) to Seven (7) years of QA experience in Banking domain and Cisco IVR application TestingTwo (2) to Three (3) IVR Spanish language testingFluent in Spanish language (verbal and written)

Responsibilities:
  • Works with business users and IT resources on projects, enhancements and defects assigned by QA management
  • Reviews functional and technical documentation with business analysts and developers as needed to understand upcoming changes to systems
  • Estimates testing time for each change assigned and reports to QA Manager, Project Manager to ensure proper time is allotted for successful test planning and execution
  • Produce and maintain test scenarios in Client Quality Center/Jira/qTest
  • Execute test scenarios and report success/failure of test execution, along with defects to project team
  • Work with project team to resolve and retest defects, maintaining history of resolution in HPQC/Jira/qTest
  • Review changes after successful test execution with other QA resources to ensure knowledge transfer to the entire team, via presentations, meetings as needed
  • Stays current on changes to systems and trends in quality assurance using internal training, outside resources, (online training, manuals, documentation)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA Processes and Methodology

Skills/Competencies:

Functional Competencies:
  • Solid experience in Cisco IVR application

Procurement
  • Must be comfortable executing end-to-end test scenarios in both QA and SIT
  • Ability to create medium to complex sql scripts for data validation
  • Working knowledge of Client Quality Center, Jira and SoupUI
  • Excellent time management skills
