Equipment/ Diesel MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on support equipment, including forklifts, generators, deice equipment, fleet vehicles, tugs, and golf carts. You will be responsible for repairing and modifying equipment as needed, documenting work orders, using computer systems to manage inventory, and troubleshooting hydraulic, gas, engine, and component level issues. Additionally, you will be required to change out faulty sensors.Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on support equipment.

Repair and modify equipment as needed.

Document work orders accurately.

Use computer systems to ensure adequate inventory.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, gas, engine, and component level issues.

Change out faulty sensors.

Essential Skills

2 or more years of experience with heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance.

2 years of experience in hydraulics.

2 years of experience in motor repair.

2 years of experience in electronic component maintenance.

Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting.

Knowledge of hydraulics, motors, and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

DC electrical troubleshooting and welding preferred.

Must have own set of hand tools.

Must have a valid driver's license.

ASE certification qualifies for additional pay.

Experience with small gas engines is a plus.

Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
